Another change that Microsoft revealed will be that of transitioning to a multi-session productivity experience from single-use search and chat sessions. This will provide access to persistent chats and chat history within Edge.

Lastly, platform capabilities will be opened up to make room for third parties and developers to be creative. It will help them build atop Bing and complete tasks or answer queries.

Bing With Open Review

Microsoft has made various changes to Bing and Edge due to significant customer engagement, feedback, and adoption. This included the giant announcing that Bing will no longer need a waitlist now.

According to the company, this development will help make things easier for people looking to try out Bing, as well as Edge.

Ensuring That Search Is More Visual

In addition, Microsoft is ensuring that it makes a significant difference in the field of search, by making it more visual.

For this reason, it is aiming to add graphs, charts, and visual answers. It also has an updated answer formatting.

Moreover, the company will be adding new visual experiences to its chat. The Bing Image Creator will also now have more options, including support for more than 100 languages. So, users can easily create visuals in their language of choice.

Making The Search More Productive

Another major change brought about by Microsoft is to ensure that search is more productive. Thus, it is offering features like export and share options and gives access to chat history.

Users will be allowed to go back to previous chats that they were having while using Bing. They can also choose to keep a conversation handy during browsing.

Furthermore, it will give users the option to share conversations with various users to continue iterating related to a new idea or concept. For this reason, Microsoft has also added share and export functionalities to the chat.

On the other hand, Microsoft Edge is going to have new and enhanced summarization capabilities for documents with a longer length.

These documents will include longer-form websites, as well as PDFs. Edge actions introduced will give users the chance to finish more tasks in only a number of steps.

For example, people can ask questions in the Bing chat related to the mobile page that actors are viewing during a movie. They can also tailor drafts as per the feedback they receive, related to phrasing, tone, and length.
